With regard to the benefit our customers receive in operating our own fleet of trucks, we would like to offer an example of timely delivery of Foothill Soils products: In July of 2008, as we were shutting down for the evening, we received a phone call from Cal Trans. They required 800 yards of mulch delivered that evening between the hours of 7pm and 12am.
We are confident in saying that no other company could have logistically and properly completed this order by subcontracting the transportation to an outside trucking company.
