                 DECORATIVE BARK AND ORGANIC MULCHES               

ORGANIC FOREST FLOOR

Organic Forest Floor is made from assorted tree trimmings and creates a natural appearing ground cover. This product is also used as a top dressing around shrubs, trees and flower beds. It retains moisture, saves water and controls weeds. Forest Floor also provides excellent erosion control for hills and slopes.



WALK ON BARK

This bark is a coarse product that has minimal fines. It's ideal use is in planted areas where its texture helps prevent the bark from blowing or floating away. It is a groundcover that is used often by commercial landscapers and is very popular in California.




SMALL BARK

This product is made up of a very fine pine bark. It works great for pathways through a mature garden and is mainly used for decorative purposes. It also helps with water retention.





MEDIUM BARK

This bark is the most commonly used and one of the more inexpensive barks. It is a douglas fir and hemlock bark, ground fairly coarse and is light reddish-brown in color. This bark will darken with age. It is mainly used for decorative purposes and also helps with water retention.



PLAYGROUND BARK

This bark is a Douglas Fir and Pine mixture. It is virgin wood. It is specially made with the corners rounded so they don't splinter. The more depth you have, the more cushiony the material gets to help break falls. This bark has been certified as a play area bark.

TOP SOIL

Top Soil is a sandy loam soil (screened to 1/2") for soil preparation uses or for backfilling plants and shrubs. This product contains no rocks or debris and is excellent for filling holes in lawn areas or for mounding planting
areas.



ORGANIC TOPSOIL BLEND 50/50
Organic Topsoil Blend 50/50 is a blend of 50% Topsoil mixed with 50% compost. This amended topsoil is used to replace poor quality native soils or to level or fill existing areas. Custom Amendments are always available for your situation. For Example: If your requirement is a 70/30 blend....NO Problem! We can accommodate
any blends for your job!

ORGANIC PLANTING MIX

Organic Planting Mix is great for roses, color and planting in containers. It is used by most nurseries for planting. Organic Planting Mix is made from commercial compost, wood finds, wood shavings, green waste and food compost .

ORGANIC COMMERCIAL COMPOST

This is an economical soil amendment and seed cover that has been used in the industry for many years. This organic compost is used to amend the soil for landscape installation and as a component in soil mixes for nursery stock. When mixed into the soil, it greatly improves water and nutrient retention, which reduces excess compacting of the soil.



ORGANIC HUMIC COMPOST

Foothill Soils Humic Compost is an economical and excellent quality soil amendment for landscapes. Made from compost, forest finds and screened topsoil.






PSD 100

This soil is comprised of nitrolized fir shavings and sand. PSD 100 is mainly used as a container mix for palm trees, trees, 1-5 gallon trees and plants.






PSD 200

This product is comprised of nitrolized fir shavings and heavy sand. It is mainly used for the larger 15 gallon, (on up), trees and plants. This product is also good for fruit trees and more exotic plants and trees.






VEGGIE MIX

This product is an all purpose topper that can also be added as an amendment to certain applications.
